Who teaches the live lessons?
Every live lesson is taught by a qualified Japanese-language teacher. Your teacher may vary depending on the program, class format and schedule.
What do the digital companions do?
Ichi-chan, Kuro-senpai, Takeshi and Aoi-san help you around the site and keep you company while you learn. They do not teach your lessons or replace your teacher.
Do I need to know my level first?
No. Tell us what you have studied, what feels easy and where you get stuck. We can help you work out where to start.
Which program should I choose?
Choose Foundation 150 if you are starting from zero and want a set course. Choose Customized 1-to-1 if you want lessons based on a particular goal, schedule or current level.
