Can I start with no Japanese at all?
Yes. Foundation 150 starts from the very beginning. You do not need to know hiragana or grammar before you start.
Are the lessons taught by humans or AI?
Every live lesson is taught by a qualified Japanese-language teacher. The companions are there to help you around the site, not to replace your teacher.
Is Foundation 150 only for passing N5?
No. N5 is a useful goal, but it is not the whole course. You will also practise speaking, listening, reading and everyday Japanese.
How do I choose between Foundation 150 and customized lessons?
Choose Foundation 150 if you are starting from zero and want a set course. Choose Customized 1-to-1 if you want lessons based on a specific goal, schedule or current level. If you are unsure, we can talk through the difference with you.
